33 kV Voltage Transformer

Youbian's durable 35KV33 kV voltage transformer is designed specifically for metering and protection applications. The Youbian durable 33 kV voltage transformer uses special winding and shielding techniques for the primary and secondary coils to improve voltage stress distribution. Each coil is carefully insulated with polyester film to provide a high dielectric between layers. Assemble the completed winding structure and double ring iron core onto the support frame.


Precautions

1. Before being put into operation, the 1.33 kV voltage transformer must undergo testing and inspection according to the specified items in the regulations. For example, polarity measurement, connection group, insulation shaking, nuclear phase sequence, etc.


2. The wiring of the voltage transformer should ensure its correctness. The primary winding should be connected in parallel with the tested circuit, and the secondary winding should be connected in parallel with the voltage coil of the connected measuring instrument, relay protection device or automatic device. At the same time, attention should be paid to the correctness of the polarity.


3. The capacity of the load connected to the secondary side of the 33 kV voltage transformer should be appropriate, and the load connected to the secondary side of the voltage transformer should not exceed its rated capacity, otherwise it will increase the error of the transformer and make it difficult to achieve measurement accuracy.


4. Short circuits are not allowed on the secondary side of the 4.33 kV voltage transformer. Due to the small impedance inside the voltage transformer, if the secondary circuit is short circuited, a large current will occur, which will damage the secondary equipment and even endanger personal safety. Voltage transformers can be equipped with fuses on the secondary side to protect themselves from damage caused by secondary side short circuits. Where possible, fuses should also be installed on the primary side to protect the high-voltage power grid from endangering the safety of the primary system due to faults in the transformer's high-voltage winding or lead wires.


5. In order to ensure the safety of people when in contact with measuring instruments and relays, the secondary winding of the voltage transformer must have a grounding point. Because after grounding, when the insulation between the primary and secondary windings is damaged, it can prevent high voltage from endangering personal safety in instruments and relays.


6. The secondary side of the voltage transformer must not be short circuited.


For insulation and protection, the component is automatically vacuum pressure cast into hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (HCEP). HCEP material has excellent arc trajectory, ozone and ultraviolet resistance, while maintaining physical strength. The hydrophobic surface properties of HCEP ensure its highly reliable performance in humid, damp, or polluted environments.
