Everyone should calculate the current IC based on a load and choose the current transformer ratio. There are various specifications for the rated current ratio of the primary side of current transformers (such as 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100, 150, 2 × a/C), and the rated current of the secondary side is usually 1A or 5A. Among them, 2 × a/C indicates that there are two current ratios for the same product, which can be achieved by changing the wiring method of the product's connecting pieces. When connected in series, the current ratio is a/c, and when connected in parallel, the current ratio is 2 × a/C. In general, the selection of the current conversion ratio for measuring current transformers should ensure that their rated current I1n is not less than the load current in the line (i.e., the calculated IC). If the load calculation current in the line is 350A, the conversion ratio of the current transformer should be selected as 400/5. To ensure the accuracy requirements of the 11 Kv Current Transformer used for protection, the transformation ratio can be selected to be larger.
The principle of accuracy level selection: The accuracy level of the current transformer used for billing and metering shall not be lower than 0.5 level; The ammeter used to monitor the magnitude of load current in each incoming and outgoing circuit should use 1.0-3.0 level current transformers. In order to ensure that the accuracy error does not exceed the specified value, the secondary load (volt ampere) of the current transformer is generally verified, and the secondary load S2 of the transformer is not greater than the rated load S2n, so that the selected accuracy can be guaranteed. Accuracy verification formula: S2 ≤ S2n.
