The 2.5mva power and distribution transformer is the second most expensive device in the power system. Therefore, extra caution must be taken when installing new power transformers in substations. When entering the interior of a power transformer, workers should empty all loose items from their pockets to prevent any items from falling into the transformer.

Do not use bamboo or wooden fences.

When installing outdoors, if two or more 2.5 mVA power distribution transformers are installed, the minimum distance between their enclosures should not be less than 1.25 meters.
